Ackomas, a French company that specialises in publishing SaaS solutions for medical devices, is strengthening its leading position by welcoming Stéphane Ancel as Sales Director. He will be responsible for accelerating growth in the SME, mid-cap and key account segments in the MD industry. This sector is facing growing pressure with the implementation of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 and new regulatory requirements to be met to receive marketing authorisation.

After managing healthcare institutions, Stéphane Ancel worked for HELVEPIA, a key provider of listing, purchasing and consulting services for healthcare institutions, where he held various roles oven seven years. After that, he joined Mutualité Française, where he was responsible for group purchasing for mutual clinics, then expanded his expertise into the medico-social sector with the founding of Groupement d’Achats Mutualiste, which he managed for eight years. His firm belief in the potential benefits of EDI for health product procurement brought him to @GP, a publisher specialised in this sector, where he expanded the health business over a period of four years.
